The Consul-General

The Consul-General, H. E. Dr. Adam Abdul-Rahaman was born in Tamale in the Norther Region of Ghana and attended Tamale Senior High, Tamale-Ghana, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast-Ghana, University of Ghana, LECIAD-Ghana, SMC University, Zurich-Switzerland and Zanith University College, Accra-Ghana
The Consul-General holds a Doctorate degree in Political Economy, an M.A in International Relations, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Religions as well as a certificate in Human Resources Planning and Development from the Institute of Applied Manpower Research in New Delhi, India.
H.E. Dr. Adam is a career diplomat, serving in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana. Prior to being appointed to his current position as Consul-General of the Republic of Ghana in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, he served in Ghana Embassy in Brussels, Belgium from 2012 to 2016, Ghana Embassy in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso from 2018 to 2023 as the Head of Chancery, and an Officer-In-Charge, Director at the Accra Passport Application Center (Accra PAC) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2023 until 2025.
H.E. Dr. Adam Abdul-Rahaman loves reading, watching movies and spending time with the family. He is married with four children.
